AgroCentreLiski Welcomes Spring and Guests!

Over 150 farmers and agricultural specialists from various Central and Southern regions of Russia “welcomed spring” on the Day of Open Doors at a new AgroCentreLiski Servicing Centre (Liskinsky district, Voronezh region). Construction commenced in September 2010, and on 3 March 2011 the Servicing Centre was already “receiving” its first guests.

This Day of Open Doors was intended for farmers and agricultural specialists interested in new technologies, advanced farming equipment, innovations of precision farming and high-output livestock breeding. Aleksey Grigoryev, Director of the AgroCentre Group of Companies, pointed out that over the past 9 years, apart from conventional farming solutions, the Company specialists have also been promoting new efficient technologies and adapting global farming trends to the Russian market.

Within the context of “efficient options,” the guests were introduced to NivaControl, a precision farming and agrimanagement system designed in cooperation with the German companies Hansenhof_Electronic GmbH and WTK-Elektronik GmbH. Implementing this system will help to control the whole farming enterprise and use farming machinery as efficiently as possible. In addition, post-harvesting equipment from the Canadian corporation Ag Growth was presented to the visitors. This equipment is already gaining more and more acclaim among Russian farmers and agricultural specialists.

Today the assembly line of the Swedish company Vaderstad is working on the premises of the Servicing Centre. Anatoly Khan, director of the enterprise, informed guests that production focuses mostly on big Rapid AC pneumatic combi drills and Top Down cultivators since these are the most popular machines with Russian farmers. This summer, there are plans to launch production of Seed Hawk direct seed drilling machines and Carrier Drills. 2012 will see the production of Rapid pneumatic seed drills and new products developed by Vaderstad,- Spirit seed drills and the light Swift cultivators.

“Authorized dealers of Vaderstad are operating in 30 countries all over the world, however, until now, the actual production has been carried out only in Sweden,” says Anatoly Khan “Now it is in Voronezh as well. For Russia, considering its vast spaces, geographical proximity of production and service to the customer is extremely important. Does the assembly quality differ in any way? If so, I think the machines assembled in Russia have the highest quality. Vaderstad understands that it needs to establish a good reputation in the Russian market and conducts a thorough check of each machinery unit. The fact that now Vaderstad machinery is subsidised by the Russian government because it is produced in Russia makes for another significant merit.”

In addition, participants of the event had a tour of the EkoNivaAgro farming enterprise. They visited an elevator and the new dairy production complex, where they observed the Carrousel milking parlour (GEA Farm Technologies Rus) in operation.
